North Highland Initiative are committed to engaging with and funding community groups, volunteers and services that help support our rural communities.

If you have a community project or service that will make a positive impact, then we would love to hear about it. Our funding application process is designed to be straightforward, you can download an application (find below) and send it via email to info@north-highlands.co.uk or pop it in the post.

A decision will be made on applications as soon as possible, with the overall aim being a rapid and effective decision-making process.

Current funding programmes are outlined below:

Community Infrastructure Support Programme (CISP)

The North Highland Initiative’s Community Infrastructure Support Programme was set up in 2020 to provide small grants to community led initiatives during the pandemic. The grant programme served communities, volunteer and support services who needed additional help through this difficult period and to stimulate post Covid recovery, and we’re proud to say it continues to do so today.

The fund offers specific assistance enabling small communities preparing to welcome visitors but also to provide services and support for everyone who lives across our region.
